Not a lot to say, but photos to share
Hi again. The arrival of "flu season" is upon us here in Paradise. First struck was Dancing Blonde who actually had to leave Sunday night dancing to go home and wallow in self pity.
Next struck down was Larimar. Those lovely blue eyes are now somewhat bloodshot and sickly looking. Well they were. Both blondes are now on the road to recovery thanks to:
a. Drugs
b. Sleep
c. Liquids
d. Copious amounts of self pity
It is expected they will return to the dance floor by Friday night.
This week heralded the arrival of 2 friends from the cold frozen north (slight exageration but not much). While they will not write on this blog they will certainly be the subjects in the writing of this blog. M is a marvelous cook. She loves to bake but doesn't like to eat any of it. She is always good to be around. W - well he just loves to be around us, he is a generally great guy and always helpful. Now W used to get to hang around with just 2 good looking women. This year he will get 3 of us plus visitors.
Speaking of which Long Distance Blonde arrives this Sunday for a 2 week visit. We have not seen her in months and can hardly wait. We are already planning out the 2 weeks of trouble.
I have some photos for you: The first one shows the construction of Ocean World 's new Casino. It is scheduled to open later in November with a grand opening celebration December 16.
